Rick Murphy is a veteran software engineer. He grew up in California, and later followed his career to the Midwest. Rick takes care of all web development, purchases, and order fulfillment.

"My goal is to create a store that I would like to find as a customer. Some of the music in our catalog has a list price of over $20 for a single CD. I wouldn't pay that much and I don't expect you to either."

Laura Dias was born and raised in Salvador, Brazil. Like many natives of Bahia, she grew up with music. She sang in a band, and toured with an Afro-Brazilian dance troupe. Her brother is an award winning composer and musician in Salvador. Laura helps with research and is responsible for all Portuguese correspondence.

"To market Brazilian music and culture has been a very pleasant experience; it's nice to know that people appreciate our artists."
