Banda Eva has always been one of the greatest Axé bands of Bahia.
They have sold over four million since their inception.
There have been several changes in voice over the years.
Ivete Sangalo made the band famous with hits like "Carro Velho", then left to pursue her own
successful solo career.
Emanuelle Araújo followed Ivete, and now Saulo Fernandes, previously with Banda Chica Fé,
heads up the band.
In 2003, he received the award for Best Singer of the Carnival.
